History

Recker and Boerger was founded in 1962 by Al Boerger and Joe Recker.  Their initial focus was major appliance sales, including room air conditioners. In the early 1970’s the demand for room air conditioning decreased and the demand for central heating and cooling systems increased leading Al and Joe in to the central heating and air conditioning business.

Today Recker and Boerger is one of the largest residential heating and air conditioning contractors in the Cincinnati area with over 115 full and part time employees. Recker and Boerger continues to be family owned and operated

The company is run to this day by a second generation Boerger, Steve. His brother Allen runs the Heating and Cooling division while his cousin Jim Recker runs the Applicance division. 

Recker and Boerger operates 4 retail stores, in Montgomery, Tri County, Beechmont, and Florence. 

The main office, all warehousing and the heating and cooling division are operated out of our 76,000 square foot Tri County location.

Recker and Boerger performs all of it’s own deliveries and installations as well as servicing all brands of central heating and air conditioning without using subcontractors. 

Recker and Boerger is environmentally conscience. We recycle fluorocarbons, also known as Freon, as well as sheet metal and other scrap, and over 2000 pounds of cardboard per day!

Return Policy

Recker and Boerger will gladly accept return of all merchandise that is new and in its original packaging. In cases where delivery was made and the item has not yet been used or turned on, a delivery and pick up charge for the item may be incurred. For all other items where usage and/or turn on has occurred, each case will be considered individually.

Recker and Boerger has been providing premier customer service for more than 50 years. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact a manager and a personal review of your situation will be considered.

Restocking, delivery, and pick up fees may be applicable in any return situation.
